Bioactive B12 & Folate Methylation Formula

If you've been taking a B12 and not feeling much, the form may be why. Most B12 is cyanocobalamin, which your body has to convert before it can use it. Methyl B12 skips that step: it provides 5,000 mcg of methylcobalamin — the active, tissue-ready form — plus 1,000 mcg of methylfolate (Quatrefolic 5-MTHF), to quickly raise B12 levels for energy, nerve health, mood, and healthy homocysteine.

If you have a diagnosed B12 deficiency or take medication that affects B12, work with your provider on dosing and monitoring.
To use ordinary B12 (cyanocobalamin), your liver first removes a cyanide group and adds a methyl group to make methylcobalamin — the active form. Methyl B12 provides that active form directly, so it's ready for your tissues without the conversion step, and it's paired with methylfolate (5-MTHF) because B12 and folate work together in methylation, red blood cell production, and nerve health.
Take one tablet daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Flourish is a compounding pharmacy with an on-staff pharmacist and nutrition team, so your questions about B12, energy, and methylation reach people who do this every day — not a warehouse. Explore Vitamins & Minerals, Energy, or pair it with Methyl B-Complex, B Active Complex, 5-MTHF.
What is methylated B12?
Methylcobalamin — the active, body-ready form of vitamin B12 that doesn't require the conversion step ordinary cyanocobalamin does.
How is it different from regular B12?
Regular B12 (cyanocobalamin) must be converted by the body; methylcobalamin is already in the usable form and is better retained.
How much B12 is in each tablet?
5,000 mcg of methylcobalamin, plus 1,000 mcg of methylfolate (5-MTHF).
Is this good for MTHFR / people who don't convert folic acid well?
Yes — it uses methylfolate (5-MTHF) rather than folic acid, the form the body can use directly.
Can too much B12 be harmful?
B12 is water-soluble and generally well tolerated, but if you have elevated B12 on labs, review it with your provider.
When should I take it?
Once daily; many take B vitamins earlier in the day.
Does it help energy?
B12 supports energy metabolism and red blood cell production, which is why low levels often show up as fatigue.
